Welcome to Blog Here Now.

The main goal of this blog is to keep in touch with friends and family without going through a corporate intermediary like facebook, which I find kinda creepy (see this post). I don’t intend for it to ever “go commercial”.  I’ll be posting whatever catches my eye on a given day and raise topics for “virtual conversation”.  I realize that I could do this by mass email, but I would rather not clog up your inbox.  This way you can check in whenever you feel like it (I hope often), and I can feel less isolated out here in the boonies of northeast Wisconsin.  We’ll make this up as we go…
